groupie 2.0
I’ve always been fascinated by groupies. Except for the sex part (which is kind of a contradiction but who cares). Replace the sex part with music and you will get my idea of what I love (or think of me as a complete loser).
Let’s put it this way – I really love good looking girls who love (good) rock music, go to every concert of their favourite band(s), collect items, have posters all over theirs places, know every song, every detail and beyond.
Recently I searched for an awesome Jarvis Cocker picture I saw two years ago on Flickr. @Ultragrrrl – one of the first I followed on twitter – had uploaded the picture in her public account and shared the link on twitter. I was amazed to discover dozens of backstage pictures, all of them with minimum one famous musician in it – especially Brandon Flowers, who had obviously known Ultragrrrl for a couple of years.
I completely forgot about the album and the stars until yesterday when a very good friend of mine (genuine music lover and rhythm seeker) told me a story which involved Pulp‘s singer. I was eager to find that amazing picture of Jarvis. So I typed in: ultragrrrl ….
And got some google search suggestions before I started the search!

This is quite amazing. That is how I came up with the term groupie 2.0 -
this is not the girl who waits for you backstage – this is the geek* whom you – a rockstar – are most googly related to!
Wouldn’t that be nice – in my next Google search I type in neviiven – and there the suggestion Brett Anderson comes along! Or Peter Hayes. Or Robert Smith.
* an excellent taste in music is required

that’s why tonight I’m celebrating the new beginning with not-going-out on a saturday night and with playing with some of my images on the internet.

ok, ok, I wanna watch the new danny boyle movie…and the vorleser, don’t know the name of it in english but it’s based on schminks book, who is german. anyway some chick kate winslet is starring in it. watched a weird documentary about kambodia. nori. nori.

it’s not only the main subject in one of the new it crowd 3 episodes but an issue very close to my heart as well.
i won’t have internet access at home until friday next week. it is terrible. the only place i can go online is at work. it’s like a diet…who am i fooling – it’s like abstinence.
short update on my activities:
- being angry all the time
you all know those days when you have the feeling that everyone is here to get on your nerves and upset you?
well, that one feels like it.
- the sky is blue and if my mood would have been a little bit brighter, i would have appreciated the sunny day
- i watched yesterday across the universe. it’s a musical movie dedicated to the beatles. they have some good songs. around 30 or something. i really enjoyed it. the story was cheesy, no doubt about it, but it was kind of amuzing and i really liked it.
i have the feeling that im writing the same things in different formats on ten platforms: facebook, twitter, gmail, blip.fm, last.fm, thumblr… ok, not ten but…enough

i have a really silly feeling about that. maybe i am not going at all. for not music-related reasons.
- i am listening to that rolling stones song “play with fire”. i had a dream about fire few days ago.

sitting at work, feeling quite miserable, actually more than miserable.
i had very colorful dreams last night. i’ve been sleeping a lot in the past few days.
i don’t have internet at home, which makes me sicker than i am.
the blacks are multiplying, i know what is to be done in situations like this. find sth you really like and do it. the problem is i don’t want to do anything alone anymore. and things that are beyond my control upset me.
i tried to watch magnolia last night – i didn’t like it. a room with a view was a surprise because i didn’t expect some things. whatever.

броя часове, точки и дни.
опитвам се да бойкотирам “плана”, но тъй като 2009 трябва да е година на промените, ми трябват срокове. т.е. планът се сведе до въвеждането на срок.
въведох точкова система – при положителен резултат участникът получава червена точка, при незадоволително представяне – черна. и двата вида оценка започват с ч, но това е единственото, по което си приличат.
срокът е 3.2. (тази година). тогава тегля чертата (отново ч, да) и започвам с простата аритметика. не е много ясно какво произтича от резултата, но до 3.2. има още време.
вчера гледах този филм – The.Darjeeling.Limited – много ми хареса. който може и иска – да го гледа!
